Following a detailed submission the BPFA managed to secure a grant from the Somerset Community Foundation to help us secure new grounds maintenance equipment. The old tractor, ride on mower and the majority of the very old equipment has been sold or scrapped and we have secured a new ride on mower to help with the work at Backtown and at Holm Oaks. The association has also managed to fund new moveable goals which have been sited on the practice pitches on the playing field. Murray Corfield a former resident of Butleigh has been looking after the maintenance of the play areas for us and has been doing a great job on a voluntary basis all year.
