Local elections are taking lace in Somerset on May 5th
The window for nominations opens in just two weeks’ time.
Prospective Candidates:
Town / Parish Councils are always looking for new people to become involved and stand for election.
Sometimes it can be difficult to describe what it is that a Town / Parish Council does, but anyone thinking of standing for election will want to know this before putting themselves forward.
Free SALC Forum:
This event is for anyone who is interested in standing for election / becoming a councillor but would like to know a little more.
We will have a handful of existing Councillors online who will share their experiences and answer any questions.
